  • Terrain and Soils – Soil and Terrain spatial data and maps are available in GIS file formats, as .tiff  files (scanned maps) and in some cases as hardcopy prints.
  • GeoBC: Window to data and information sources provided by various Provincial Government ministries and agencies from the Natural Resource Sector. GeoBC has applications that allow you to view, discover or download Ecosystem Branch data stored in the Land Resource Data Warehouse (LRDW):
    • View Data: iMapBC- Public Users | Authorized Users (BCeID/IDIR)
      Instructions: From the Map Layers click on “Add”, select the "Forest Grasslands and Ecosystems Folders" or the “Geology and Soils” folder, then select the layer you wish to view.
    • Discover Data: To find out what data is available search the Discovery Service or search GeoBC on Google Earth
    • Download Data: Comprehensive spatial views from the Land and Resource Data Warehouse (LRDW), for use in desktop GIS analysis, can be ordered from the Data Distribution Service
