Land-Base Program - FIA

Stand Treatments to Meet Non-Timber Objectives Activity Area - Treatments Activity.

Standards

Standards for Stand Treatments to Meet Timber Objectives apply. This activity requires that both an overall standard (FS1001) and an activity-specific standard be followed. Additional information on requirements for this activity is available in the "Guidelines and Procedures for FIA Funded Silviculture Activities".

Prescription standards should be developed using "Silviculture Guidelines and Practices for Maintaining or Recruiting Key Habitat Objectives." Data reporting on the FS708 must indicate the primary objective as non-timber.

In addition to regular reporting, Recipients must also fill in a project abstract and send to For.Prodres@gov.bc.ca.
