Please note that this product is no longer being updated and is considered a
static product. It was last updated in June of 2005. It will eventually be replaced by the
1:20,000 British Columbia Corporate Watershed Base (CWB).  


The BC 1:50K WSA includes zipped export files (*.e00) of coverages and shapefiles for the following themes: 

LWSSBCGZ - Stream Centreline Network (with Gazetted Names and Stream Routes)
LWSLBCGZ - Lakes, Double-line Rivers, Wetlands, and Man-made waterbodies. Includes the Official/Gazetted Names
LWSDBCGZ - Third Order and Higher Watersheds (with Gazetted Names)
LWM9_BC  - Nine Major Drainage Areas of British Columbia (eg Fraser, Columbia, Skeena)
LWMJ_BC  - Major Watershed Code Numbers of British Columbia
LWOLBCGZ - Provincial outline - includes coastline with ws_codes, provincial borders and
           Official/Gazetted Names for many of coastal marine islands             
LWSX_BC  - Hydrographic Annotation    
LWSO_BC  - Aquatic Features including Obstructions (ie Falls, Dams) 
LWSG_BC  - Boundary lines for the original 246 Watershed Groups of BC
