Stand Treatments to Meet Non-Timber Objectives Activity Area - Treatments Activity

Introduction

Standards for "Stand Treatments to Meet Timber Objectives" apply. This activity requires that both an overall standard (FS1001) and an activity-specific standard be followed. Additional information on requirements for this activity is available in the "Guidelines and Procedures for FIA Funded Silviculture Activities". See corresponding web page for individual activity standards under "Stand Treatments to Meet Timber Objectives".

Prescription standards should be developed using "Silviculture Guidelines and Practices for Maintaining or Recruiting Key Habitat Objectives." Data reporting in RESULTS must indicate the primary objective as non-timber.

In addition to regular reporting, Recipients must also fill in a project abstract and send to the Ministry of Forests and Range library.
