Trappers Boundary Map & Guide Outfitter Map

These maps can be downloaded from our ftp site.

The .hp2 files are in a plotter ready format which can be taken to any local mapping or drafting company for plotting. A minimal fee may be incurred. These files are zipped up and titled trapline_map_35inch.zip and trapline_map_60inch.zip, for example, for their respective plotter sizes.
The spatial coverages can used by special GIS software. The current format is Arc/Info. The guide outfitter areas can be downloaded from the provincial ftpsite: ftp://ftp.elp.gov.bc.ca/dist/arcwhse/wildlife/qgoa_bc.zip. The trapper coverage can be dowloaded from the Cariboo Region ftpsite: ftp://ftpwml.env.gov.bc.ca/pub/outgoing/dist/tenure/trap/

These files must be saved to the hard drive or network drive for future use. Click on the hyperlinked file name you wish to download. A File Download box pops-up, select SAVE, and save to the desired location on your hard drive.

These maps and spatial coverages encompass the entire Cariboo Region.
