Road Directions to Amanita Lake

1. from the Yellowhead Bridge in Prince George, follow Highway 16 east for 17 km;

2. turn left off Highway 16 at the Giscome exit, onto Upper Fraser Road;

3. drive 16.0 km, cross the Willow River, and turn right;

4. drive 50.0 km passing Eaglet Lake / Upper Fraser (road turns to gravel past Upper Fraser), and cross the railway bridge over the Fraser River to McGregor;

5. turn left off the main road (follow gravel road through Northwood Mill yard) and continue 1.0 km to a fork in the road;

6. turn left onto Archie Road and drive 2.0 km to intersection;

7. turn right at intersection and drive 6.0 km on main road;

8. turn left and drive 0.3 km to Amanita Forest Recreation site;
