Okanagan Region Recreation

The Recreation Section develops regional strategic plans for sustaining or enhancing public and commercial recreational opportunities both within and outside of Provincial Parks, while ensuring the long term sustainability of British Columbia’s natural and cultural resources.

The Recreation Section also champions the establishment and continuance of viable, long term recreational opportunities through innovative approaches to Recreation Management including developing new funding partnerships, marketing strategies, and program delivery initiatives.
