File Transfer Service (SOFT)
SOFT is a service which allows you to email large files, by uploading a file to a secure server, then emailing the location of that file.
When you upload the file, the service creates a unique Internet location (URL) for the file, which you can email to other people. Then they use the URL to download the file. After a few days, the uploaded file will be automatically deleted.
SOFT Example Forms
To use SOFT, a business area creates a web form that calls SOFT. This page includes several examples of forms:
- A general-purpose file transfer web form with Environment branding
- A fictitous example of a business-specific web form which allows contractors to submit completed habitat assessment projects.
These forms can be used directly, or can be used as examples from which to build forms for a particular business area.
