General Open Season and Select Private Land Maps
These maps represent only a few areas within the General Opens Season (Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis) that are open to only portions of a Management Unit (MU). For other boundary information including, but not limited to, species closed areas, management unit boundaries, no hunting/shooting areas and motor vehicle restricted, refer to the current Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis. Road data is not up to date and roads depicted may not exist. New roads from 1995 onwards are not shown on map.
Warning: Some of these maps are poster size maps and will not be legible if printed on standard 8.5 X 11 paper. You will be able to zoom in and take note of boundary details.
Region 1 - Vancouver Island
Special Antlerless Mule Deer areas within MU 1-2, 1-4, 1-5, 1-6 and 1-15
Adult hunters are only permitted to hunt antlerless deer in the designated Special Antlerless Mule Deer areas within these management units. Note all Special Antlerless Mule Deer areas are 'Bow' or 'Firearms Using Shot' only. The maps below are more detailed to help supplement those provided in the Hunting and Trapping Regulations Synopsis.
